Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Secure Select Ltd wants this site to be usable by as many people as possible. That includes being able to navigate it by keyboard alone, read it with a screen reader, resize the text, and use it without animation.

Where we stand

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We have built to that standard but we have not yet had the site independently audited against it, so we are not claiming full conformance. We would rather say that than overstate it.

What we have done deliberately:

  • Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced to screen readers rather than shown only in colour.
  • Text and interactive elements are checked against the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio the guidelines ask for, including white text over the photographic hero.
  • The site is navigable by keyboard, with a skip link to the main content as the first thing you reach.
  • Decorative images carry no alternative text so screen readers pass over them, and meaningful ones describe what they show.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, every animation on the site stops, including the moving hero and the product illustrations.
  • Content is never hidden behind an animation that fails to run, so the site stays readable if JavaScript does not load.

Known limitations

The contact form and the free security check need JavaScript to run. The pages around them read fine without it, but you cannot submit those forms. If JavaScript is unavailable to you, email or phone us using the details below and we will take everything that way instead.

The interactive product illustrations, such as the security dashboard and the process diagrams, are visual demonstrations. They are marked so that assistive technology skips them, and the surrounding text describes what they show, but they are not themselves readable by a screen reader. If you would like any of that content another way, ask us and we will send it.

Our legal position

The accessibility regulations that require a formal statement apply to public sector bodies, and we are not one, so this statement is published voluntarily. What does apply to us is the Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments, which we take seriously and which is why this page exists.

Tell us if something is hard to use

If any part of this site is difficult for you, please email [email protected] or call 029 2271 0714. Tell us the page and what happened. We will reply within five working days, provide the information another way in the meantime, and fix the underlying problem where we can.
